Welcome to Louis Capelle, who, as part of his internship at the LEGOS laboratory, will study the processes that lead to the generation, maintenance and dissipation of marine heatwaves in the South-West Pacific region.
He will also study their characteristics using existing regional numerical simulations.
During his six-month internship, Louis will be collaborating with researchers Christophe Menkes, Takeshi Izumo and Bastien Pagli and will be supervised by Sophie Cravatte and Carlos Conejero.
