To meet the objectives and address the questions raised by the interdisciplinary MaHeWa project, the consortium brings together several entities based in France, New Caledonia, French Polynesia, and Wallis and Futuna, organized into four categories:
In total, the MaHeWa consortium comprises 56 researchers and engineers, including 27 in the “Central Group” and 29 involved in specific tasks, along with 43 individuals from political, administrative, and organizational structures. These experts bring diverse and complementary skills to achieve the project’s objectives. Although the project focuses on French Overseas Territories, the knowledge and methodologies developed will benefit other countries. To strengthen international ties, an advisory committee of renowned scientists accompanies the project, providing strategic and methodological guidance tailored to MaHeWa’s various disciplinary aspects.
