A Kick-Off Meeting to Present Project Actions and Objectives on November 27th, in the Presence of the ANR
The MaHeWa project, focused on research and management of Marine Heatwaves (MHWs) in the Pacific, has officially secured funding from the French National Research Agency (ANR) under the PPR Ocean and Climate program (France 2030). The first launch meeting, or “kick-off meeting,” will be held on Wednesday, November 27, to outline the goals and main action lines of this innovative initiative.
The leading team, consisting of Sophie Cravatte, Catherine Sabinot, and Guillaume Mitta, invites all participants and partners to this inaugural event. This meeting, organized with the ANR in attendance, will provide an opportunity to detail the first-year steps and review scientific and operational objectives. The meeting will take place:
• Nouméa: Wednesday, November 27, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at IRD, Anse Vata
• France: Wednesday, November 27, from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
• French Polynesia: Tuesday, November 26, from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
