Louis Capelle joins the LEGOS laboratory as part of a six-month internship within the MaHeWa project. He will study the processes that lead to the generation, maintenance and dissipation of marine heatwaves in the South-West Pacific region, as well as their characteristics using existing regional numerical simulations.
Louis will be collaborating with researchers Christophe Menkes, Takeshi Izumo and Bastien Pagli, and will be supervised by Sophie Cravatte and Carlos Conejero. |
